These sessions focus on identifying CPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) symptoms after narcissistic abuse and gaining insight into specific tools and techniques that you can put into practice at home to alleviate its effects.
I'm also a big believer in finding meaning to all that has happened. Meaning is what drives us, what makes us feel happy and fulfilled. Finding your very own unique meaning is one of the most important things that you can do for yourself in a therapeutic setting. It's a huge part of our recovery and wellbeing, and it's something we can work on in these sessions as well.
Many different variables are contributing to the symptoms of CPTSD. My approach for healing CPTSD resorts to different theories like CBT and Existentialism. This is why I'm eclectic. I use what works!
Finding meaning is healing because it acts very much like a vaccine that prevents illnesses while healing ongoing afflictions, At the same time, we'll work on specific tools, and techniques that will help you manage, subside and get rid of CPTSD symptoms.
